Tuition and fees
Tuition starts at $1,852 for domestic and online students. International, in-person students pay an additional $350 visa processing fee.

Gap Year at UC Santa Barbara offers students the opportunity to experience a world-class research university by enrolling in undergraduate courses alongside UCSB students and by engaging in stimulating academic topics shaped by innovation, sustainability, and global impact.

Eligibility

  • Must be 18 years of age by start of program.

  • Have graduated from high school or equivalent.

  • Not a current UCSB undergraduate or matriculating student.
